With inflation being what it is, all across the board, the thought of overpaying for something that doesn’t require it makes my stomach churn – I hate wasting money. As a disc golfer, that’s an attitude that doesn’t quite “jive” with how many members of our community buy discs …

“Latest-and-greatest” marketing tactics work: I don’t fall victim to them often, but I’d be lying if I said I never have. More often than not, there will be another run, a new mold won’t revamp your game or there’s enough overlap with what you’ve already got to pass on something …

But that’s lame.

Buying new discs is fun …

Doing it affordably, however, is MÁS fun.

You know it: Used bins are a great place to start – especially if you’re new to the game. As a self-proclaimed “mold minimalist,” though, I like to see my discs through each stage of their life cycles: Overstable, stable, less stable and mad-flippyI need new discs to make that happen.

To that end, I just discovered a new link on Infinite Discs – one I’d NEVER seen before …

It’s the “What’s On Sale?” page: Click here to check it out.

I’ve seen these kinds of pages on other retail sites – they’re a dime a dozen. More often than not, the stuff you find is total trash. Older, “no-name” molds that didn’t sell for a reason the first time: Nobody was dumb enough to buy ‘em at full price – a micro-discount won’t change that …

That’s NOT the case on Infinite Discsthis is Chanel-level stuff:

* Note #1: The above were featured on this page at the time of the writing of this article.

* Note #2: Obviously, depending upon when you’re reading this, discounted discs will change.

Right now, you can even nab a Dynamic Discs Paratrooper Backpack (the state and country flag edition) for $79.99 – that’s $39 off Dynamic Discs’ O.G. price. If you’re in the market for a bag or want to upgrade, backpacks are stoopid-pricey – that’s a quality bag at a steal of a deal.

Listen, don’t buy discs for the sake of buying discsthat’s half-brain behavior.

But before you pay full price for plastic, see if Infinite is randomly discounting it. Or, do as I recently did and bookmark the page. Once a week or so, I’ll check back in to see if anything piques my interest. And if it does, I do it to it: backups, new molds, replacement discs, etc.

This page helps.
